Overview
The 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is a versatile five-passenger Jeep SUV with a large cargo area and great off-road capabilities available in three trims - the base X, midlevel Sahara (Two-wheel or four-wheel drive) and Rubicon (Four-wheel drive only). For 2010, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited adds a new and improved Sunrider soft top, making it even easier to remove the top for that open-air experience on- or off-road along with a number of significant changes in comfort and convenience features.
Power and performance
A 3.8-liter V6 engine rated at 202 horsepower is standard for all trims. A six-speed manual with overdrive is standard on all trims except the two-wheel drive models. An optional four-speed automatic with overdrive is standard on the two-wheel drive trims and optional for other trims. The maximum towing capacity is 3500 lbs.
Body and styling
A fuel-saver indicator, fog lamps, two hooks, new front dome lamp with on/off switch, compass and outside temperature readout and larger, sliding sun visors with mirrors are standard on all models for 2010. New Satin Silver 18-inch aluminum wheels are now standard on Sahara while the Rubicon rolls on the road with the new standard Satin Carbon 17-inch aluminum wheels. A new two-tone leather seating is available on Sahara and Rubicon. Uconnect Phone is now included with optional Uconnect Navigation. Three new colors have replaced the old colors.
Removable doors; fold-down windshield; and a full-size matching spare tire mounted rear gate are some of the defining exterior features of the 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Inside, air conditioning; vinyl, cloth, or stain-resistant cloth seating; speed control (optional on X trim); optional power windows and locks; SIRIUS satellite radio, offering over 130 channels; mopar grab handle; automatic speed control; and AM/FM stereo radio with in-dash CD player and MP3 capability are some of the key features.

Advanced multistage front air bags; supplemental front seat-mounted side air bags; power locks and power windows with front one-touch down feature; Electronic Stability Program; all-speed traction control; electronic roll mitigation; hill start assist; anti-lock braking system with on-road and off-road calibrations; and tire pressure monitoring system are some of the safety and security equipments on the 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
